DNA Databanking

General Information

DNA Databanking services are for those parties who wish to store their DNA for extended periods of time in cryogenic storage. Cryogenic storage preserves the DNA in liquid nitrogen which allows the DNA to remain unaltered. Such services are extremely useful for future determination and analysis of genetic diseases that run in family lines and also allow for future genetic studies to occur well beyond the death of an individual.

Additionally, such samples are critical as obtaining samples after death are extremely difficult. New techniques allow for preservation of DNA in memorabilia form which can save the memory of a loved one in an ornamental manner.
